Elbow, Knee, or Calf Pain from Pickleball? What It Means (and What To Do)

Pain doesn’t usually show up all at once.

It builds.

Calf Pain (“Pickle Pop”)

What it means
Your calf isn’t prepared for explosive load

What to do
Eccentric calf loading + reduce intensity

Knee Pain

What it means
Your knee is compensating for weak hips/glutes

What to do
Strength + lateral stability

Elbow Pain

What it means
Too much wrist/forearm, not enough shoulder

What to do
Fix grip + strengthen shoulder + adjust mechanics

When to Modify vs When to Get Help
